Your Erotic Yes A Puerto Rico Retreat for Women Ready to Come Alive Again

January 21–25, 2027 · Rio Grande, Puerto Rico · 6–8 women

There's a sound the coquí frogs make at night in Puerto Rico, a small, insistent, two-note call that fills the whole jungle after dark. It was one of my first memories of the island. I was a kid, playing in the backyard of a family friend's house, and I swear I saw a giant plant-shaped man moving in the dark. To this day I don't know if it was real or imagined. But that's Puerto Rico to me. Magic, music, family and the feeling that anything could happen.

Awilda Velazquez -Warfield & Wallace Warfield

My mother was Puerto Rican, my father was Black American, and both of them gave me music: jazz, classical, salsa, boleros, the call-and-response rhythms my dad taught me to hear as African before they were ever called Latin. My mother used to pull me out of school for last-minute flights to the island because "the deal was too good to pass up." Teachers would ask if there was a wedding, a funeral. There wasn't. She just needed to go. She needed her happy place.

I understand that now more than ever. And it's why, every time I bring women to Puerto Rico, I'm not just bringing them somewhere beautiful. I'm bringing them somewhere that has always brought me back to myself, and watching it do the same for them.

WHAT THIS RETREAT IS

This is an invitation to slow down. To reconnect with your body. To soften out of survival mode.

To move, breathe, laugh, rest, and remember yourself again.

You'll arrive the afternoon of January 21st, check-in doesn't open until 3, so plan to land around 4, and depart by 11am on the 25th. Four nights at Casa Alternavida, three full days in between, plus dinner and a light welcome activity the evening you arrive. A stunning home tucked between the rainforest and the ocean in Rio Grande, where every other detail has been thought through: chef-prepared meals made with intention, an energy in the space that's been carefully and lovingly calibrated, mornings on the rooftop with coffee and the sound of the jungle waking up.

And at the center of it all: sensual movement.

WHAT THAT ACTUALLY MEANS

I'll be honest with you, because I think you deserve honesty before you say yes to something like this.

This isn't a dance class where you learn choreography. It isn't burlesque, and it isn't a "sexy heels" class, though I have nothing but respect for those modalities and the women who teach them.

What I do is different. This retreat includes sensual movement sessions that are slow, intimate, and body-centered, built from training I've been refining since 2006. Sessions may include floor work, heels, and shedding layers as a practice of release.

My job is to observe. To notice where you're holding on, where the feeling gets stuck, where the music starts to melt something loose in you, and sometimes gently call it out so you can move through it

Here's what I watch for, over and over:

I watch for the moment a woman's jaw unclenches without her noticing, when her belly goes soft and her hips start moving on their own before her brain catches up to ask if she's doing it right. That's the work. Not correcting her. Just being there when her body answers before she does.

That's the work. It's slow. It's intimate. And it changes something.

THIS MAY BE FOR YOU IF...

You've been craving deeper connection to yourself

  • you feel disconnected from your body or sensuality

  • you're moving through transition or reinvention

  • you want softness without losing your power

  • you're tired of performing perfection

  • you want to feel it in your body, not just think about it

Willingness is the only prerequisite. You don't need to already know how to move, that's actually the point of coming.
