When women gather in circles…

Women’s circles are nothing new. I’ve been teaching sensual erotic dance in a circle format for years. A circle of women moving their hips in slow, intentional spirals in unison is POWERFUL magic. The energy shifts in the room as the sensual energy flows through their bodies and through each other, almost as if through osmosis. 

Listening and watching women hold space for each other in a circle is a beautiful thing. The arms ready to hold and the hands ready to soothe are never far away. The collective laughter that rings with understanding and acknowledgment is one of my favorite things that I’ll never get tired of. We listen, we share, we celebrate ourselves, we celebrate each other. We scream we cry and we purge. We rebuild, reconnect and create. In a circle no one’s light is dimmed, we simply burn brighter together. 

The Mama Goddess Queen Woman Retreat: A Pussy Reclamation was such an affirming, beautiful weekend. We welcomed goddesses both locally in Ohio and all over the country - I’m talking California, Atlanta, North Carolina, and Illinois.
